Meet Your Instructor
I’m Kayl Burke. I’ve been fighting for eight years and coaching for six.
I’ve competed in Australia, Malaysia and across New Zealand. In 2022, I won silver at the Muay Thai World Championships.
I train and fight out of Hit Man Lee Gar, and coach at Oratia Kickboxing and TKTR.
COACHING FROM A YOUNG AGE
I started coaching children’s classes and taking 1:1 sessions at 14. By 15, I was also teaching adult classes.
My experience includes leading classes of more than 30 children and more than 20 adults. Working with different ages and experience levels has helped shape how I explain techniques and support people through their training.

I want you to learn from the ground up and enjoy the process. I take the time to break techniques down so you understand the foundations before moving forward.
What I love most is seeing clients become more confident in their abilities, especially when they start to recognise how much they’ve improved.
I care about your progress and will put the effort into helping you develop. I ask you to bring that same commitment to your training. You don’t need to have everything figured out, just a willingness to learn and put in the work
